The CJCSLC serves 3700 child victims and families annually, providing tailored recommendations for each case through multidisciplinary teamwork.

    • 3,700 Children, teens and caregivers that were victimized and need support

    • 300 Witnesses who saw or knew what happened

    • 40,000 reported cases of child abuse across Utah annually

  • Types of Crimes

    • 80% Sexual abuse, rape, molestation, sexual exploitation, Internet crime, lewdness, trafficking

    • 15% Physical abuse, non-accidental burns, broken bones, contusions, head injuries, internal injuries

    • 5% Witness to domestic violence or homicide, abduction, kidnapping, drug endangerment, harmful materials to minors
